One of the most powerful portable AC's on the market, the Thermocore T2-PACH-14 delivers 14,000 BTU's of true Cooling Power along with 11,000 BTU's of Heating Power. Accommodating areas up to 650 square feet, this unit employs evaporative technology flows air over the condenser coils allowing condensation to evaporate instead of collect. This means there is little or sometimes no water to drain from bucket, because the moisture is exhausted outside along with the warm air. An auxiliary drain is provided for high humidity environments as a backup in case of water build-up.  HEAT IS ONLY 11000 BTU - may not heat areas as large as 600 sqft.

Installation:
All Portable air conditioners require ventilation to the outside via an exhaust hose installation. This is for removal of hot air which has been used to cool off the compressor (or if running in heat mode, the removal of cold air). External ventilation is universal with any compressor driven system and a crucial step for a effective and efficient setup. Standard installation includes venting through a sliding window (via included window kit) or through an external wall, by cutting a hole. All our units come with extendable window kit, adaptors and exhaust hose to complete installation. The window kit will accommodate either vertical or horizontal types as long as the slider length is within range of window opening. It's important to double check the pipe-exhaust hose specs to make sure the slider kit will compliment your window dimensions if you plan on exhausting via this method.
